What season do you want to go?

During our season of April through September different rivers are available. The early months of April, May, & June are the free flowing rivers without dams. During the warmer summer and fall months (mid-June on) the rivers are dam controlled and there is a steady flow of water released to the river all season.

How many days on the water?

If you have an idea of the number of days you would like, follow the links in each table to the trip information for that river.

Our trips vary in length from 1 to 5 days and a special 6 day trip on the Owyhee River. The Lower Klamath, Rogue, and Owyhee rivers are wilderness pack-in trips. An extra raft carries our food and personal items. We supply waterproof bags for your gear. On other overnight trips we use a base camp and you will have access to your car or our van.

What level of difficulty do you like?

To assist in selecting a trip best suited to you, each of the rivers we run has been given a rating. The difficulty of a whitewater river is classified on a scale of 1 to 6 (Class 1 has no whitewater and Class 6 is unrunnable). These ratings are based on the conditions we normally encounter. First time rafters will enjoy Class 2 or 3 rivers. For Class 4 or 5 rivers it's best to have some previous experience. We do allow first-timers on the Upper Klamath... if they are ready for an a very active trip.

Class 2 ....Easy; small rapids and large pools; anyone can go. Middle Klamath

Class 3
....Moderate; Larger rapids and more action; fun, fun, fun. Lower Klamath, Trinity, Upper Sacramento, Rogue, Owyhee

Class 4
....Difficult; Long rapids, powerful waves, lots of action. Upper Klamath

Class 5
....Wild; Complex rapids, steep drops, experience necessary. Cal Salmon, Scott
